Waking Up With Beauty

I've been getting up at 6am every morning to work out lately. The other morning I stepped out onto our back patio to let Bentley out and just stood there for a moment to absorb the day.

The fog hung think and low. The sun was just coming up and you could barley see it through the trees and fog. The sky was already turning to blue above. It was so quiet and still. You couldn't see past the horizon, but you knew it was going to be a beautiful day.
I breathed in as much as I could. Waking up with beauty reminds me of living life with God. It's hard to see, but you know He's created something incredible.
"How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You." Psalm 139:18

Go girl!! When I finished 24-7 I made a promise to myself that I'd never work out at 6am voluntarily again...some years later I'm finding it necessary :) That's awesome - don't you feel so much better when you're working out?

thanks for your thoughts...just so you know they are always appreciated although there are often times that there isn't much to say in reply! I enjoy your blog and miss you as always -

Hugs,
Thea

LOL! Yeah, I remember the 5am workout times and promised to never do that again! Somehow, 6am is doable for me.

And you're welcome... it's good to be able to share my thoughts. It's like a cyber cup of coffee with friends... responses are always required. :)Hope you're doing well.
