Today: Just A Blip In Time

Today is Martin Luther King Day. Tomorrow Barak Obama will be inaugurated. We are living in historic times.

When I step back from myself from my personal life, the local news, this moment in time... and look over the landscape of time... over the changes that have taken place in this county--no, not just this country, but this century... this millennium... I am amazed. The changes that we as people have walked through are just incredible. I am so grateful that we have a sovereign God who orchestrates everything... who works all things out for good to those who love Him--even if there is pain in the process of "the working out". I feel so honored to be alive today... to be serving Christ in this day and age. I know things are harder, and we know they will be harder for our children. But I'm glad to be here, in this moment in time.
