The weather has changed a bit over the last couple of weeks. The sun is still bright and people are still all over the beaches, but the humidity is a lot lower, and the mornings and evenings are starting to be just beautiful. It's getting up to 85 degrees during the day, but is in the 60's at night. Ahhh.... Fall in central Florida.
People are starting to walk around out neighborhood and chat "over the fence". The play grounds are starting to get busier and kids are riding their bikes up and down the streets. Every once in a while, you find a brave soul who is already opening their house windows and starting to work on some improvement projects. Landscaping and yard work has doubled on the weekends. People are actually doing it themselves rather than shell out the $25 to a lawn care company to mow the lawn for them so they don't have to get out into the 100 degree heat of Summer.
And I've started walking again! It takes me about an hour to walk our whole neighborhood and I usually do it with a neighbor who has a little girl, also. The girls have a great time talking and passing things back and forth to each other while sitting in their respective stroller seats, as us mom's push them at a fast paced walk. But now, I'm pushing a double stroller with a tall two and a half year old, and a one year old. That totals up to about 85 pounds! I'm always sweating and out of breath when I'm done, but hey... I think that's the point. :)
