Selling Religion...Or The Lack Thereof
*Sigh* This story caught my eye. It's a battle over a holiday, over people's beliefs. It's very pithy to me. God needs no defending. I think the news reporter summed it up well--tho it makes me sad to say it. It's about "selling religion... or the lack thereof."
Why don't we just forget the fight and pursue a relationship with the only ONE who changes us for the better? Only then, will others see and know... till then, it just feels like we're selling something.

Faith cannot afford to be reactionary. It must be motivated simply by being! If we live it, they can't deny it. For those of us who claim to be Christ-followers, if this holiday is really about Jesus, then we should stop the commercialization and look to build relationships while serving the poor, hurting, and needy.
Well said, Joseph!
I just read this quote today, "Preach the gospel daily, use words if necessary." -St. Francis of Assisi Whoa, that was convicting!!
Yes, that is a great quote! One to live by. :)
